One of the guiding principals of my business is environmental responsibility and I have a policy of only using timber from the UK. I know where the trees have been felled and can be confident that the woodland has been sustainably managed. Supporting a home-grown hardwood timber industry helps protect traditional skills and benefits native woodland and wildlife. Timber transport miles are kept to a minimum with most of the timber that I use being sourced from within 60 miles.
